Sanabel celebrates the release of the “Arab Microfinance Regional Report” Under The Patronage of H.E Dr. Jaafar Hassan Minister of Planning and International Cooperation on January 16th, 2011 at the Landmark Amman Hotel and Conference in Amman, Jordan.
The report provides a regional overview of the state of the microfinance sector in the Arab region and includes country profiles for more detailed country-by-country performance. The report analyzes the financial performance of the Arab region within the context of the existing funding structures and regulatory environments; and highlights key trends, achievements, challenges, and opportunities for the microfinance sector in the Arab region to all interested parties. Moreover, the report seeks to support the financial and social inclusion advocacy efforts and the policy developments taking place in different countries of the Arab region. A more far-reaching goal is for this report to stimulate the exchange of national experiences, promote further regional cooperation between practitioners and regulators, and identify best practices taking place in the region.
