Sanabel Fourth Annual Conference has ended in Thursday June 14, 2007 in Sana'a, Yemen. The conference extended over a period of 3 days, discussed several issues related to Microfinance in the Arab region. Participants from 38 countries discussed outreach and how to achieve 10 million clients by 2010. Participants also discussed funding and social performance management among other issues. Several training courses were offered in strategic planning and decision making. In the closing session, representatives of donors, practitioners, and Sanabel shared their views on how to achieve the goal of the conference and their contributions. Mr. Al-Arhabi, Deputy Prime Minister of Yemen gave a closing remark in which he congratulated Sanabel for the successful conference and expressed his confidence in achieving the goal of 10 million clients by 2010, given the initiatives in the different Arab countries.
