Plenary 1: State of
Microfinance in the Arab World
As the author of
two World Bank studies on microfinance in MENA,
Judith Brandsma reviewed the results of a
regional study that analyzed the status of
microfinance in the Arab World. Panelists talked
about microfinance trends globally, and in their
regions, identifying common challenges and
lessons learned on the road of industry growth.
