The Central Bank is working on establishing clear mechanisms to support the micro and small credit sector, in cooperation with the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority and the Egyptian Microfinance
Federation.The Central Bank held an expanded meeting on Thursday, December 15th together with a number of heads of public and private banks and representatives from the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority to discuss mechanisms through which to support the sector in the coming period.
